Excerpt

As Trevor helped Lila up the porch steps, she wrapped her arms around his neck and brushed her lips against his jaw. She hadn't taken her hands off him since they'd left Tate's.

"I love to feel your stubble." She ran her fingers along his cheek. "It's sexy."

"Keys?" He held out his hand and waited as she dug through her bag. She had him rock hard and ready to go. The fact that she'd rested her hand on his thigh the whole ride home hadn't helped matters. It was the alcohol lowering her inhibitions, but that didn't make it any easier not to respond.

"Here they are." She dropped them into his hand. "Come inside with me."

He opened the door and led her into the foyer. As soon as he let her go, she stumbled forward. He caught her by the waist and pulled her against him. He couldn't take his eyes away from her lips.

"Do you want to kiss me?" Her warm breath caressed his mouth.

 More than you know.

"Let me help you upstairs. I don't want you to fall down the steps." He scooped her up and carried her to the staircase. She was so light and dainty. She was still his perfect fit.

"You didn't answer my question." She placed soft, open-mouth kisses along his neck as he made his way to her old bedroom. He remembered sneaking up those steps many times, while her father slept down the hall. They still creaked, but this time he didn't have to worry about getting caught.

"Of course I want to kiss you." He pushed the door open with his shoulder and set her down by the bed.

She closed her eyes and leaned into him. He swiped the hair from her face, took her chin between his fingers, and placed a chaste kiss on her lips.

She opened one eye and peered at him, waiting for more. "That's it?" Disappointment flooded her beautiful features.

"For tonight." He tapped the tip of her nose with his finger. "I want you to remember when I kiss you."

"I'll remember." She wrapped her arms around his neck. "You're not easy to forget."

He pried her arms from his body. "Believe me, I want to, but not tonight."

 "Why?"

"Because four hours ago you ran away from me," he said. "Something made you run. Tell me why." He may not have wanted to take advantage of her physically while she was intoxicated, but he didn't see why he couldn't let her drunken lips tell him what she was afraid of.

 "I can't."

"You can't what?" He needed to know what she thought about the two of them.

"I'm tired now." She lifted her dress over her head and tossed it in the corner of the room. She stood before him in nothing but her white push-up bra and matching lace thong.

"Hell." He couldn't take his eyes off her toned, tanned body. He mindlessly licked his lips when he discovered her rose-colored nipples poking through the thin, silky material of her bra. Struggling with himself, he tried not to lower his gaze. He lost the battle as he greedily took in her scantily covered sex.

"Want to kiss me now?" She ran her fingers down her neck and over her breasts. "Want to touch me like this?" She moved her hand down her stomach and to the waistband of her panties.

He stepped closer to her and grabbed her wrist. He had to get her to stop or he'd lose all control.

 "You want to do it?"

Tragic Desires by A.M. Hargrove - Blog Tour & Giveaway

Book Description:

My name is Gemini Sheridan. At least that’s what I thought it was for 23 years. Then one day a slight adjustment on the wheel of my mountain bike set into motion a series of catastrophic events that changed my life forever. Now I’m running from the headaches that threaten to destroy me… from the assassins that threaten to kill me… from the truth that exposes who I really am… and from the man that wants to save me. Because he now owns my heart and I fear him above all others.

My name is Drexel Wolfe and I’m a private investigator. Nothing ever stands in the way of what I want because when I see something I just take it. All of that changed the night my life collided with Gemini Sheridan’s and now everything is one hot damn mess. And the worst part of it all is that I’m trying to save her ass and I don’t know why the hell I’m even bothering. Well, that’s not exactly true. Fact is, I can’t stop thinking about her. She’s crawled into every thought I own, asleep or awake. I have serious plans for her that include making her mine. What she doesn’t know is that when I play, I play for keeps. Nothing and no one will get in my way or stop me… not even Gemini Sheridan herself.

My Review:

Tragic Desires by A.M. Hargrove
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A.M. Hargrove has yet again written another outstanding novel. Her writing is what I would say is outstanding! In my opinion A.M. Hargrove's writing is only getting better with each new book she publishes. The characters in this story are well written, plot is fast paced and filled with an intriguing story line. Tragic Desires is one of those books that you cannot stop reading, even though you have to work in the morning the story is too compelling to stop. I stayed up pretty late trying to finish this book. Tragic Desires has everything you want in a great novel; mystery, suspense, murder, fear, sexy alpha males and an added bonus is the steamy romance that takes place. This by far the best book I’ve read recently.

We meet Gemini Sheridan who has just recently had a horrible bike accident that has left her with headaches/migraines that are debilitating. Losing her boyfriend and her plans for her future she comes to the decision to leave school and move on. To cope with the pain she suffers Gemini turns to using drugs and alcohol. The internal pain of losing her mom, boyfriend and her future leaves her with not much of a will to live.

Then in comes Drexel Wolf who has been hired by a friend to help find some missing young women. While he is on a stake out he sees Gemini in one of the bar’s they are watching, he believes this striking woman could be the next target for whoever is taking these women. Keeping his distance he decides to keep an eye on her.

Upon saving Gemini he realizes he has to have her, but first he needs to figure out what exactly going on and who is after Gemini. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and Drexel Wolf will do anything within his power to keep her out of harm’s way.

Tragic Desires was a fantastic read, it is by far the best book A.M. Hargrove has written to date. I have rated Tragic Desires a 5 star rating and if I do say so myself I would rate it 10+ stars if I could.

I recommend this story to anyone who loves a great, hot, sexy, steamy, mystery, suspense romance novel, you will not be disappointed!

Tragic Desires Excerpt 6—Language Sexual Content

THIS IS NOT good. I know better than to start this, but something pulls at me from down deep and for once in my life, I’m not in control of my actions. Oh, I suppose I could stop. But that’s the last damn thing I want to do. Her long hair is nothing but wet tangles hanging down her back. Her gorgeous black fuck-me eyes stare straight into mine and I want to tumble head first into them and never crawl out. And don’t even get me started on her mouth. When her tongue flicks across her lower lip, there’s no doubt I have to taste her again. Oh, fuck me now. Please.

She’s in my arms and her mouth is on mine before I can think twice. There’s no hesitation, either. It’s me, her, and nothing but the skimpy scrap of cloth between us. And that’s where I have to draw the line. I don’t want to. God, I don’t want to. I’d like nothing more than to jerk that towel away from her and see what lies beneath, but I refrain. It would be wrong on all kinds of levels, but God help me, it’s all I can think of right now.

And then she lets the damn thing go to put her arms around my neck so I know that with one tiny movement, it would fall at our feet. Give me some damn strength because I sure as fuck need it.

My cock is nearly busting through my jeans and I’m kissing her with a ferocity I need to tame. But it’s impossible because her passion matches mine. It’s like I’m back in high school again, hormones raging, making out with my latest girl. But this is way more intense than anything I’ve ever experienced. Unfortunately, my need for oxygen necessitates that I break off the kiss. When I do, I rub my cheek against hers and move my lips close to her ear.

“Goddamn, Onyx. I need a minute here.” My breath comes in rough bursts. Her fingers tighten in my hair and I feel her tug, so I lean back to look at her. “Everything okay with you?” I want to make sure she’s good with this.

“More than okay, I’d say.” Then her hand moves to my cheek in a tender caress, her thumb tracing my brow. She looks as though she wants to say something but isn’t sure if she should. Then that same thumb travels to my lips and she traces my lower one until I capture it with my teeth and give it a gentle bite. She studies me intently and finally says, “I’ve never been kissed like that before.”

“Like what?”

She shakes her head a little. I’m not sure if that means she doesn’t know or if it means something else.

Then she lets out a tiny laugh and says, “I don’t know. I guess so thoroughly. Or maybe so passionately.” And then she kisses me and we’re at it again. And I know that I want this girl. I want inside of her. I want her on top of me and underneath me. But I won’t take her. I can’t. At least not here or now. My dick is not happy about this, but too bad. I can’t let her go just yet, so I hold her even tighter and move my hand into her wet hair as I cup the back of her head. I imagine what it would feel like to sink my fingers into the cheeks of her sweet ass.

Our tongues twist and play as we discover all the hidden secrets of each other’s mouths until we’re both breathless once again. Of all the women I’ve ever been with, she has the power to brand me with just her soft touch and her mouth. Oh dear God, that mouth of hers. I know it will be the only thing I can think of for days on end … how those lips would feel wrapped around my dick and her tongue working me over. That, and how I want to be inside her.

When we break, I say, “Don’t move, Onyx, or you’ll be naked.” Why do I have to be such a fucking gentleman now?

Her sigh is so damn sexy, I want that towel to fall away, just so I can glimpse her. “Thanks for reminding me.” Her voice is breathy and my damn pants grow tighter, if that’s possible.

“Gemini, I wish I could photograph you right now because I’ve never seen a more beautiful sight.”

At first she gapes and then lets out a hearty laugh. “I’m a mess! My hair is lopsided. I didn’t brush it. I have bruises all over my face. I must look awful.”

“No, you don’t. Awful doesn’t exist when it comes to you. You look sexy as fuck, bruises and all.” I take her hand and put it on me. “See what I mean?”

She stills and our eyes meet. “I … I think you’re sexy too.” Her voice is so husky, my dick jerks when she speaks.

“I think you need to get dressed because if you don’t, I may stop acting the gentleman.”

Her face falls. Was that disappointment? I hope so because I don’t want her to get dressed. I want her naked as hell.

My arms tighten around her for a second and then I kiss the top of her head, right before I lift her chin. “My men should be here any second.”

“Oh! I forgot all about that.”

I take her hand and put it on her towel. “Hold on to this unless you want me to see you naked.”

“I don’t mind if you see me naked. I’d love to be naked with you, Drex.”

About the Author:
One day, on her way home from work as a sales manager, A. M. Hargrove, realized her life was on fast forward and if she didn't do something soon, it would quickly be too late to write that work of fiction she had been dreaming of her whole life.  So, she rolled down the passenger window of her fabulous (not) company car and tossed out her leather briefcase.  Luckily, the pedestrian in the direct line of fire was a dodge ball pro and had über quick reflexes enabling him to avoid getting bashed in the head.  Feeling a tad guilty about the near miss, A. M. made a speedy turn down a deserted side street before tossing her crummy, outdated piece-of-you-know-what laptop out the window.  She breathed a liberating sigh of relief, picked up her cell phone, called her boss and quit her job.  Grinning, she made another call to her hubs and told him of her new adventure (after making sure his heart was beating properly again).

So began A. M. Hargrove's career as a YA/NA and Adult Romance writer. Her books include the following: Edge of Disaster, Shattered Edge and Kissing Fire (The Edge Series); The Guardians of Vesturon series (Survival, Resurrection, Determinant, reEmergent and Beginnings); Dark Waltz and Tragically Flawed.

Other than being in love with writing about being in love, she loves chocolate, ice cream and coffee and is positive they should be added as part of the USDA food groups.

Excerpt:

Grabbe tried to speak, but the back of his throat had been, coated by some substance that seemed to hold his vocal cords in place.

Jazshael reached into his coat pocket. “Well, I’m glad you’re awake. Wouldn't want you to miss all the fun.” He produced a full syringe, its needle sparkling in the low light of what he assumed to be Jazshael's new lab.

Grabbe cleared his throat, cutting away some of the gunk from the back of his throat. He knew Jazshael; engagement would be the only path to keep from getting jabbed with that needle. “What…what are you doing with me?”

Jazshael glanced toward something off to Grabbe’s left; no doubt some mechanical monstrosity just out of Grabbe’s line of sight. “Something glorious, my friend. You can count on that. And don’t worry that your uhm…” He twirled a finger around the circumference of his head. “…sacrifice, that it will be wasted.”

Sacrifice. Not the kind of language you wanted to hear around Jazshael. It usually meant that he’d singled you out for some sort of experiment, some “great leap in evolution.” Grabbe’s stomach twisted and he strained against his bonds. As he did so, lances of pain shot through his body from every place where the cables pierced his flesh. He cried out, going slack almost immediately.

Jazshael frowned. “Oh, come on, I expect that from creatures way less than you. Struggling, pain, it doesn’t become you, I’m afraid.”

Grabbe had no reply – he found himself lost in a world of pain.

Jazshael went on. “You know, I’m glad it came down to this. You of all people know what’s going on here, you, my friend…you get the calculus. You always did.”

“That’s why I left,” Grabbe gasped.

“Yeah, about that.” Jazshael frowned. “That kind of thinking got you into this mess in the first place. You never did have the stomach to do what it took to move things forward. Unfortunate character flaw, really.”
Grabbe shook his head, wincing as another pain shot through his neck. “Samyaza has what it takes to move things forward. You think he’s the wave of the future?”

Jazshael slammed his left fist against the wall and stormed toward Grabbe, jabbing his free index finger at him. “Don’t. Don’t you do that. You know how I feel about him.”

Some things never changed. “So why are you here? I thought he kicked you out.”

The Aetelia chuckled, the light in his eyes shining pure insanity. “Of course he did. What else was he going to do, keep around a blatant threat to his status quo? No, no. And then once he’d kicked me out, he got it into his thick skull that he could create his own bioweapons. Can you believe that?”

It took Grabbe a moment to realize that Jazshael expected a reply, and a coherent one at that. He mustered up the best response that he could. “Why would he do that?”

“Good question. You know about London, right? All the crap that went down there before all this began?”
“I know a little bit.” Word about Samyaza’s disaster had traveled fast. The Watchers had built up a network of worldwide followers in the closing years of World War II, channeling just enough energy to slip the bonds of their Aethyric prison and aid their many worshippers. Rumor had it that a human insurgency had sprung up and battled the Watcher operation in London during the Summer of 2011. The Watchers had won at last, but Samyaza lost his eye in the process.

Jazshael nodded. “I figured. Always had the pulse, you did.” He straightened up, smirking. “Here’s the funny thing. So he and his people, he and his goons, they’re looking for the perfect subject to turn into a bioweapon. They have no idea what they’re looking for, though. Maybe a tunneler, like your Chosen One? Maybe shoot people up with a virus and turn them into monsters. So inelegant,” he said, and snorted. “But get this – the dumb bastard stumbles across a Class A Folder. You know what those are, right?”
Grabbe shook his head. “Should I?”

Jazshael slapped the back of his head. “You never did pay attention to me. Naughty boy. Get up to the curve, man. Folders can – you know – fold reality. Create life. You think tunnelers are something?” He scoffed. “They’re nothing next to these Folders. And they’re volatile too – the Folders, I mean. There are so few and every single one of them seems to implode and end up dead before you know it. So anyway, this genius – I’m talking about Samyaza here, you know – decides he’s going to turn a Folder into a fucking bioweapon. I know, right?” he said, and laughed.

Jazshael began to pace now, gesticulating with the hand that held the syringe. “I mean, it’s like…what is he thinking? He didn’t even try to consult me. Could I have done anything with her? I don’t know, but I’ll tell you this.” He drew close, and Grabbe could smell the rank sweetness on his breath. “Even I know not to play with that kind of fire, friend.” He scratched his head, almost jabbing himself with the needle. “You know that, right?”

“I do,” Grabbe said. Jazshael had always been prone to these rants, with severe injury or worse for those who dared interrupt. Grabbe saw no need to worsen things.

“So this is real funny. Wait ‘til you hear this. Eventually the Folder gets away, so they create a clone and try to turn this clone into their perfect weapon. They make all kinds of mistakes. There’s this…this…genetic waste left over. Sentient genetic waste, mind you. And get this,” he said, and grinned. “One of those mistakes? She damn near killed the bastard. Can you believe that shit?”

Grabbe found himself genuinely astonished. Had Samyaza lost the plot? Jazshael clearly had his drawbacks – Grabbe had a sick feeling he would find out a whole lot more about that soon – but objectively, the move had made no sense for the Watcher, especially given the danger of these bioweapons. “Why would he do that?”

Jazshael clapped his hands twice. “Thank you! That’s what I said. Why would you do such a thing? I mean, what are you, crazy?” He erupted into peals of manic laughter that rang off the walls. “I’m out of my damned mind, and I wouldn’t do that.” Another laugh, and he wiped his eyes. “Anywho, so everybody knows that he lost his eye during that mess in London, right?”

“Sure.”

“Total lie. Complete fabrication, he, uh…well, I mean, it was that piece of waste. That half-folder. Crazy shit is what I’m trying to tell you here. And Samyaza thought he could replace me. This Watcher, who thought he could replace me, did this. Can you believe that?” That’s genius at work, my friend. After that mess, Samyaza is so desperate he comes to me, tells me ‘I need you to revive the program.’ We need to go full on ahead, since the Reckoning is coming and we can take the Watchtowers, maybe run the show after all. I figure I’ll play along. I mean, why not, what loss is there for me? I can become my own free agent. And he has to pay me.” He laughed and then wagged his finger. “But I’m not a Watcher anymore. Oh, no. Don’t think that.”

“I wouldn’t make that mistake.” What little energy Grabbe still possessed drained out of him, as if the cables sucked it from his flesh. Good. Maybe unconsciousness would simply overtake him before Jazshael did.
Jazshael chuckled. “Good. Because I’m going to give this organization a kick in the ass. I am the Aetelia to do it. And you, my friend,” he said, approaching him and waving the needle, “You are the instrument of Samyaza’s destruction. I mean, how fucking beautiful is that? Don’t tell me you wouldn’t like to get him back for what he did to poor little Anushka all those years ago.”

The words struck right to Grabbe’s core. “And if I don’t want to?” Grabbe would have sworn the words were barely audible. The energy drain and the pain evoked by Anushka’s name had conspired to push him further into darkness. He had to press every word out with a concentrated effort.

Jazshael’s mouth hung open; in another situation, Grabbe might have laughed. “Buh…wuh…what kind of answer is that? Why wouldn’t you want to be? If Anushka doesn’t work, then look what he did to your fucking family or the Watchers. Remember what we were supposed to be? We were supposed to help those people. He did that. He did that to our. Fucking. People.” He punctuated each of the last three words with hard blows to his own chest. “It demands death. It demands a strong leader, because I tell you what, when that Reckoning comes around, if…if we’re out there with our pants down around our asses and the Lost Aetelia or whoever throws the switch on reality, all hell will break loose. I want to be on top of that pile when it’s all done, and I want you by my side. Do you get me? Do you read what I’m writing here?”
Darkness closed in on the corners of Grabbe’s vision. “If the Chosen One fails, there’s not going to be anything to rule.” The words came from the end of a long, dark tunnel.

Jazshael lifted Grabbe’s drooping head, looking into his eyes. “That’s the whole point of this exercise, my friend, the crux of our drive, you could say. You’re going to make sure that happens.”

“How?” This word would be Grabbe’s last. He could feel it. The sensation that crept over his body felt worse than unconsciousness, worse than pain, more like death, or something even worse.

“Like this,” Jazshael said.

Grabbe’s eyes flew open as Jazshael jabbed the needle into the tender flesh above his ear. A moment later, quicksilver cold flowed through the hole and into his brainpan. Energy coursed through his body and the world dissolved in a blue metallic wash that faded to gray. He tried to speak, but the thickness in his throat had become far worse, an actual obstruction blocking not just words but air.

It would be only moments before his consciousness disappeared down a dark hole in the center of this new, gray world.

Jazshael leaned close to Grabbe’s ear, whispering the last words that Grabbe heard on this side of consciousness:

“You will become a god.”

About The Corridors of the Dead (Book #1)

Long ago, a mysterious being known as The Lost Aetelia crafted an elaborate series of Watchtowers, along with their resident guardians, the Aetelia, to watch over the Universe. In time, they sent a select group of their own to Earth, tasked with watching over the fledging human race. This group used humanity to challenge the established structure of the Universe. A bitter war ensued, and these rebels, who had come to be known as Watchers, disappeared from history.
The time of the Aetelia – now known as angels – is returning. After a fateful night of violence, Artist Matty DiCamillo finds herself drawn into this world by a mysterious savior, who becomes a driving force in Matty’s new life.

Matty finds herself not only racing to rescue the woman she loves, but learning that she herself could be the cause of the Universe’s day of reckoning.

The Wind Whisperer by Krista Holle - Blog Tour & Giveaway!

Book Description

At fifteen, Anaii is the most important member of her tribe—and the most mysterious. Ever since Anaii can remember, the spirits of the wind have whispered of fertile hunting grounds and imminent enemy attacks. But when her people are ambushed by a brother clan without any apparent cause, the spirits remain eerily silent.

As the village prepares to retaliate, Anaii is pressured by her best friend, Elan, to marry him. It’s an old plea—Elan has spent a lifetime loving her, but Anaii only sees a childhood playmate out of an imposing warrior. Stifled by Elan’s insistence, Anaii escapes into the forest where she meets Jayttin, the beautiful son of the enemy chief.

Enamored by Jayttin’s carefree spirit and hope for peace, she repeatedly sneaks away to be with him, but when her deception is discovered, Elan is devastated. Pledging his lifelong affection, Elan gives her a passionate kiss, and Anaii begins to see her friend in a new light.

While Anaii is tormented over which man she must choose, the wind whispers of a new threat that could destroy both tribes. Only a union will afford a chance at survival, but the reality of that union is based on one thing—which man Anaii chooses to die.

Top 5 Reasons to have a Native American Boyfriend

Poor Anaii, my fifteen-year-old protagonist, has to make the excruciating choice between two lovely Native American men. One, Elan, has been her best friend for as long as Anaii can remember. He’s a no non-sense warrior who’d do anything for Anaii.
After an unexpected kiss Anaii begins to see her “friend” in a new light.

Anaii also finds herself inexplicably drawn to Jayttin, the beautiful son of an enemy chief. Jayttin really should be off limits but he just might be the key to peace between the two warring tribes. There is no bad choice here—only Anaii’s choice. Who will she choose? This brings me to the top five, very shallow reasons to have a Native American boyfriend.

1. These guys are not only in tune with nature—they’ll be naturally in tune to you. Talk about the perfect boyfriend!

2. Whoever referred to the natives as the “red man” got it all wrong. Their beautiful bronze skin is the stuff of legends.

3. Native American men have the most gorgeous hair on the planet. Short or long you’ll want to run your fingers through it.

4. I hate to be cliché but these guys have beautiful cheek bones. Talk about a chiseled face!

5. There is nothing sexier than attitude and these guys have it in spades. Native Americans have a cool heritage and they know it.

My Review:
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Serenity Falls is a well written new adult romance novel written by Tiffany Aleman and Ashley Poch, the plot and characters are well developed, and the story flows extremely well this is one of those novels you have a hard time putting down. I have to say the writing and the descriptions make me want to go to visit Texas and find myself a cowboy.

We first meet Kenleigh who is a young college student who has suffered great loss in her life. Kenleigh’s aunt hears about a program that involves horses as a type of therapy and Kenleigh thrives in this environment. Now in college she spends her summers in Serenity Falls working as a summer counsellor helping other children work with horses as a type of therapy. Kenleigh loves returning to the place that made her worthy of living again.

Wes who is the owner’s son returns home to spend time with his parents and finally gets to meet the girl his parents talk about, they seem to care about Kenleigh as if she is family. Wes who is dealing with his own issues right now knows the best place for him to be is with his parents and the horses. Kenleigh and Wes are instantly attracted to each other and the friendship and romance blossoms from here. Wes being a bull-rider is what you would call an extremely sexy, hot alpha male and Kenleigh is very attracted to him and Wes feels the same way about her.

Serenity Falls is truly a well written new adult romance novel; it has everything you want, great chemistry, sexy hot alpha male and some well written love scenes. I have rated Serenity Falls a 4 star rating and would definitely read anything Tiffany Aleman and Ashley Poch write in the near future. So if you like me a love to read romance novels this is one you should try.

Tiffany is 27 years old, with a wonderful family. Her husband is in the  Army, and they have two wonderful children. Ashley and Tiffany have been best of friends  since they were 13. Tiffany recently graduated from South University with an Associate's  Degree as a Paralegal. She enjoys listening to music, playing with her kids, going to the beach, and pretty much anything that has to do with the outdoors.

Tiffany has always loved to write, but never really had an interest in reading until the summer of 2012.  She is so excited to be taking her writing journey with Ashley and has a number of authors she classes as her favorites, including E.L. James, S.C. Stephens, Molly McAdams, Rebecca Donovan, K.A. Linde, Marie Coulson and S.H. Kolee.

Ashley grew up in Texas but now has joined her husband to reside in Virginia. She is a military wife and mother to two adorable children.  Ashley has always wanted to travel having grown up in a small town. Her interest in reading sparked last summer and now she’s a lost cause without her e-reader.  Since she loves to travel, the places she gets to go in her fictional books are what any girl could ask for.  When Ashley isn’t glued to her computer you can find her outdoors either playing with her children or relaxing and enjoying the sun reading a good romance novel.

Rockstar Daddy by K.T. Fisher - Book Blitz

Title:  Rockstar Daddy
Series:  Decoy
Author:  K.T.Fisher
Publication Date:  1st August 2013
Genre:  Contemporary Romance

Book Description:

Kendal Moore and Jax Parker met when they were eighteen. Two years later, they're together and very much in love. At the age of twenty Kendal finds out that she is pregnant, she knows she has to make the right choice. Her Boyfriend, Jax is in an up and coming rock band, Decoy. Kendal knows that if she keeps the baby Jax will do right by her and support her all the way. But she loves Jax too much to let him give up on his band and their dream to stardom. So Kendal makes the hard choice to leave Jax, keeping the baby a secret.

Rockstar Daddy takes place four years after Kendal left Jax. Kendal is a hard working mum to three and a half year old Finley and Jax is a huge rock star. Read Rockstar Daddy to follow Kendal and Jax's journey. Will Jax and Kendal meet again and will Jax find out he has a son?

Excerpt:

As soon as I wake up, I feel a hangover creeping over me. After we won four awards, we did what rock bands do best. There are certain parts of last night where my memories are fuzzy. God only knows how I managed to make it back to my hotel room.

The bed shifts beside me and I stop rubbing my hands over my face. I peek through my fingers, I see blonde hair sprawled out on the pillow next to mine. I hold back a groan of frustration.

Fuck!

So I guess I spent another night having drunk and meaningless sex. Yet another one night stand. It may be hard to believe, but I don't want this anymore, girl after girl with no strings or any kind future. It's not me anymore, it's boring.

I'd love for the blonde hair to turn bright red and the random girl would be replaced with the girl I miss so much. A girl who left me four years ago, Kendal Moore. Even her name makes my dick twitch. She was so sexy with a body that had the most delicious curves I've ever seen. Kendal had beautiful big blue eyes and creamy skin that was so smooth. I had the most amazing sex with her. We would have each other anywhere and any time we wanted. We were crazy about each other, and with Kendal sex was never meaningless. Each time was better than the last.

Here I am four years later, she's not even here and my dick is rock hard at just the thought of her. Kendal is the girl that got away, actually, she sort of ran away.

My Review:

Rockstar Daddy (Decoy #1) by K.T. Fisher
My rating: 3.5 of 5 stars

This is the first book I’ve read by K.T. Fisher and I was intrigued by the book description. K.T. Fishers plot and characters were well thought out, the story was easy to read, story flowed extremely well, I finished the book in one evening.

The story begins with Kendal, here we begin to understand how much she loves Jax, ending things with Jax isn't easy for her especially finding out she is pregnant and knowing what he would do, she decides not to tell him so just maybe his dreams will come true.
Fast-forward 4 years later, Jax is returning to their home town and Kendal is worried.... she has never told Jax about his son.

I enjoyed the Rockstar Daddy and K.T. Fisher writing, there is a cliff-hanger at the end of the story but I knew Rockstars Girl was available so I didn’t’ get to pissed off. (I hate cliff hangers)

I have rated Rockstar Daddy 3.5 stars and would definitely recommend anyone who loves romance, sexy men and happy ending to pick up this series. I will give you hint though Rockstars Girl is great!

Rockstars Girl(DECOY #2)

After finding each other after four years, Jax has found out the truth that he's Finley's dad. Even though Jax is angry with Kendal for keeping him away from his son, he still wants Kendal back. In Jax's eyes Kendal has always been his. He will have her back, even if that means having a fight in the middle of a club.

Kendal knows she loves Jax but she doesn't know if she should tell him or not. She doesn't want Finley confused. Jax knows that Kendal loves him and after telling her, he thought Kendal would confess too. Jax knows just the way to get her to admit to her true feelings. Surely getting Kendal hot and sweaty and on the verse of an orgasm will do the trick.

Join Kendal and Jax to see if they can finally be together again. Amongst the paparazzi, concerts and annoying ex partner can they find their happiness? Read Rockstar's Girl to find out.

If you haven't read Rockstar's Daddy you will need to, before you read Rockstar's Girl.
